Samsung Acclaim R880 Android phone shows up

U.S. Cellular announced earlier this week plans to launch the Samsung R880 Acclaim – its Android smartphone second, after the desire HTC.

The carrier did not show any pictures of Acclaim yet, but Engadget says it has a picture of it.

As already reported, the acclamation Samsung device is a touch screen (3.2 inch HVGA) with a full QWERTY keyboard. The device works Android 2.1 and also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Mobile Services, 3MP camera, microSD card slot.

There is something bad in their navigation platform, but apart from that the applause is decent

U.S. Cellular expects to offer the Samsung R880 Acclaim from June. The price of the smartphone is not known at this time.
