Sprint Launching Moto i1 in June, Samsung Moment 2 in July

A telephone headset and knew that surprise will be sitting beside the HTC 4G EVO to the store and warehouse shelves, ready to find a new home. Thanks to BGR deep network of connections, we now know that Motorola I1 will debut in June, Sprint and Samsung Interception (also known as the Samsung Moment 2) will launch in July.

We all knew that Motorola was going to see a launch I1 summer, so this is really a surprise. According to the report shown below, the rugged iDEN Android device will be ready for dispatch direct line on 20 June and is available in retail stores July 11.

Then there is the Samsung M910 Interception also expected to leave July 11. Given the model number, you can only assume at this point that this device would be considered the Moment 2. If so, waiting to see the standard QWERTY keyboard with sliding Android 2.1 and a faster processor, there is a good chance you'll see a lot of other improvements, from the initial moment.

Frankly, news like this is just the cherry on the cake considering that abstart in a very crazy summer for mobile enthusiasts. We hope to hold and enjoy the ride!

As a side note, Sprint also took the opportunity to showcase plans to expand its 4G network in several new cities such as Rochester NY, Syracuse NY, WA Tri-Cities, WA Visalia, and more.
