Rogers Nokia N97 is launching the Mini in Canada today (a little later than expected), allowing fans across the country for Symbian buy the smartphone for as low as 99.99 CAD.
For the Mini N97 for just $ 99 you must sign an agreement for 3 years contract with Rogers (voice and data plans are required). The phone also offers for $ 399.99 with a 2-year contract, $ 449.99 with a one year contract and $ 499.99 in full.
The N97 is the second Mini Rogers touchscreen Symbian phone after the Nokia 5800 (currently $ 49.99 per contract). The device features a 3.2 inch screen with 360 x 640 pixels, full QWERTY keyboard, OVI Maps with navigation, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone jack, 5MP autofocus camera and 8GB of internal memory. Rogers does not offer the new phone through their website yet but will probably be able to buy through the company's retail stores.
Other smartphones from Nokia, which will be launched soon in Canada are the Nokia E72 (through Telmex) and Nokia X6 (carrier unknown).
