Sprint HTC EVO 4G,breaks sales record on launch day

Sprint has proudly announced that the HTC EVO 4G has become its best selling phone on the day of release, breaking records previously held by Palm and Samsung Instinct Pre.

Sprint does not say exactly how many units sold the day of release (04 June – Friday), but mentioned that “the total number of 4G EVO HTC devices sold was three times the number of pre Samsung Instinct and Palm devices sold during its first three days on the market combined. “This is awesome, I guess.

The EVO is the first Android phone WiMax, as well as one of the best smartphones Sprint always (if not the best), so the news of the sale of records is not really a surprise.

Sprint HTC EVO 4G unsurprisingly breaks sales record on launch day

Sprint acknowledged that sales of high EVO 4G is “led to a temporary shortage.” The carrier and HTC are probably / hopefully working to ensure that the EVO will not follow the path of incredible Droid Verizon (which can be purchased at this time due to massive shortages). Users can currently buy the EVO 4G at $ 199 with a new contract 2-year contract.
