HTC Smart2 with Wi-Fi reportedly in the making

Announced in January and launched worldwide not long ago, the BREW-based HTC Smart as can be called a sequel SMART2 HTC.

AskGsm.com received information that the SMART2 will be launched in coming months. Apparently, the SMART2 is “more or less like” the first intelligent, but have two important developments: Wi-Fi, and the Office suite for document editing.

Like the Smart is now available (pictured below), the SMART2 be affordable – is said to cost no more than 10,000 INR in India.

I do not know how many HTC Smarts have been sold so far, but since this is one of the few devices with touch screen at € 200 for providing an experience with smartphones, as I assume that the number of units sold is quite high. Like Samsung, HTC understand that there is high demand touchphones cheap, so no wonder they want to launch a new and improved smart soon.
