We have been informed that british carrier Three, which offer iPhone 4 on 6 different plans,is not offering a very great user experience,as some websites are blocked and cannot be accesed.

Following this tip we have bought this phone,on the plan called “One plan“which consist of:

2000 any network minutes

5000 texts

5000 Three-to-Three minutes

All-you-can-eat Data

After we obtained the device,we have start browsing. And we have found that the rumors are wright.

First issue,is no way to browse any porn sites on the iPhone 4 ,we are redirected to three website, porn section! We have called Three Customer Care, complain about the issue, and very polite we have been informed that we need a pin number to acces Adult Content.

We have wait for 2-4 hours,as adviced by Customer Care, then restarted the device and start browsing again.Back to porn sites (!!!) and the pin is requested. We insert the pin,and big surprise!!!!!!!!!!We found ourself logged in on Three porn section! At the moment we wait for Customer Care tolook on the issue, and will update you as soon as we got more details.

The issue is not only Porn sites,as we have found that other sites are blocked as well, which have nothing in common with adult content or anything of this kind.

While many expected the iPhone has a 4 to AMOLED screen, obviously it does not. Instead, Apple developed its own technology (from IPS – initially developed by Hitachi) and proudly announced a new type of screen, screen called the retina.

The iPhone screen is 3.5 inches retina 4 and 960 x 640 pixels (326 ppi) – the highest resolution you'll get a smart phone today.

When Steve Jobs introduced the new screen, which he said is "much better than the OLED screens." Samsung, the world's largest manufacturer of OLED screens, disagrees. A Samsung spokesman told The Korea Herald:

"Structurally, the IPS LCD technology can not put up with AMOLED screen technology."

The Korean company spokesman said further that the AMOLED technology is better than the IPS when it comes to color reproduction, contrast ratio, response time and viewing angle. The spokesman forgot to mention the visibility OLED displays' poor sunlight – from this point of view, the screen of Steve Jobs retina is probably better.

However, Samsung has recently developed Super AMOLED screens (included in the Wave Samsung and Samsung GalaxyS), which have 80% less reflection of sunlight compared with AMOLED screens – so the issue of sunlight exposure appears to be resolved.

One of the main disadvantages of the display of the retina Apple (with its super high resolution) is that "increases the power consumption by 30 percent, so the final Super AMOLED screens may actually be better. But I do not know for sure until someone gets an iPhone and a Samsung Wave 4 Compare / S Galaxy and the next performance of his show.
