Samsung Acclaim r880 shows off its Android interface and QWERTY keyboard

When U.S. Cellular Samsung r880 Acclaim announced, nobody knew what the receiver would be well. A few weeks later, Google introduced the phone during their I / O conference, although without showing its QWERTY sliding keyboard.

Fortunately, thanks to Samsung, we can now see the keyboard Acclaim – and is quite interesting, with four keys on the left side painted in the color of the direction buttons, apparently for reasons related to gambling.

QWERTY keyboard also has the function of Acclaim Android 2.1, a 3.2 inch touchscreen HVGA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Google services, 3MP camera and slot for memory expansion. As you can see, the phone is not totally like Samsung S Galaxy, but users of messaging-room on a budget should probably perfect.

Mobile USA (which also launched the HTC Desire later this year) said earlier that the acclamation of Samsung will be available from July. The price of the phone is not known at this time.

Google Maps Navigation now available to Android users in Europe

Almost two months after its launch in the UK, Maps Navigation is starting today, available in other European countries, too.

Several users have confirmed that Android Google Maps Navaigation works in France, Belgium and the Netherlands (through AllAboutPhones). The service is enabled probably important in other European countries, as well as Germany, Italy or Spain.

Google Maps offers free navigation step for navigation with voice instructions for Android (1.6 or later) smartphones.

Although Google Maps is available on many mobile platforms, free shipping only works on Android and the iPhone or Windows Mobile could never get it – which is an important advantage is that Google Android and other mobile operating systems ( except for Symbian, which has its own maps OVI with free shipping).

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Android tablet looks like Galaxy S on steroids

IPADE Apple iPhone looks like a giant, so I'm not at all surprised to see that Samsung's first Android compressed, apparently called Samsung Tab Galaxy, Galaxy looks like a giant S i9000.

The tablet has just been confirmed by Samsung South Africa's Twitter account – although it is unclear when and where to be implemented, or if this is the same as the sound device S-Pad (probably is, however).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab seems to work as a phone, too, and have TouchWiz on top of Android. The tablet shown below next to the S Galaxy (as seen IPADE better than, or is it just me?)

There are too many details about tablet specifications, but the screen seems to be an 8 or 9 inches, maybe one is a 7-inch TFT. There is also a headphone jack, 3.5 mm at the top. Well, we have a winner here.
