If you've always wanted to get a BlackBerry smartphone Android-that is, but could not because of the obvious lack of choices, Acer might have the solution for you, with their new E130 beTouch, currently exhibited by the Taiwanese company in Computex 2010.

The Acer E130 beTouch looks nice in general, and comes with a 2.6 inch QVGA touchscreen, optical navigation button, and a full QWERTY keyboard. The phone also has 3G (including the bands of 850/1900 for North America), WiFi, 3.2MP camera, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, ST Ericsson 416 MHz CPU and support for microSD cards up to 32GB.

Unfortunately, the E130 was beTouch Steel Donut Android 6.1, and there is no word whether or not update to Android 2.1 or 2.2.

We do not know when the Acer E130 beTouch hit the market, but you can see video preview below until the handset for more details:

Need for Speed: Shift is the latest title in the NFS series and after being made available on most consoles and the PC, the title finally arrives on the iPhone and iPod Touch. EA will soon release versions of the game for these platforms, including 20 real life cars, among which there’s also the very hot Nissan Skyline GT-R.

The folks who tested the game claim that it provides a “more sim experience” than NFS Undercover, in its iPhone version. Also, the list of cars you can drive is pretty long and you check it out below if you’re curious. Gameplay video after the list!

Motorola Zeppelin aka the XT800 and Motorola MT710 are Android handsets we’ve seen before on the web, but they’ve yet to be announced, although we’ve found out that they should make it to China soon. Zeppelin gets pictured below and its specs are available after the break, courtesy of Chinese website The Third Media.

Moto XT800 is a dual mode phone (GSM and CDMA), that packs a 3.7 inch touchscreen display (854 x 480 pixels resolution), supports 3G connectivity, WiFi, incorporates a HDMI port and a 5 megapixel camera with flash. The folks of Mobile-review have also spotted the Motorola MT710 phone next to Zeppelin in a bunch of images, that you can also see below.

We have no info about the launch date of the XT800 and MT710, but we’re guessing they’ll be made available pretty soon.

According to a Taiwanese market research firm, shipments of Taiwan’s smartphone integrated circuits are exploding due to an unexpected increase in iPhone 3GS sales. Based upon supply chain analysis, Market Intelligence and Consulting Institute predicts that Apple will sell a record-breaking 10 million iPhones in this current quarter alone, a modest increase over the record 7.4 million units sold in the previous quarter. With global sales of the iPhone continuing to increase, this tiara-wearing, digitally clueless beauty queen and its parent company are laughing all the way to the bank.

Samsung has decided to pull all stops on its latest digital camera — the ST5500. This point-and-shoot sports a 14.2 megapixel sensor, Wi-Fi, 100MB on-board memory and microSD card support. For those of you who are into video, you’ll be happy to know that you can shoot footage at 30 fps with a 1280 x 720 resolution as well, which should make for some smooth playback. The 7x optical zoom camera also has a large 3.5″ LCD touchscreen on the back so everything should be more intuitive with less clutter and less buttons. With Wi-Fi built in, you can even send pictures via email and load videos straight into websites like YouTube or Vimeo. No word on pricing, but look for it to hit store shelves sometime in Q1 2010.
