Although Virgin Mobile was the first to announce that is what the HTC Forest Fires in the UK, apparently the first UK airline to launch smart phone is actually T-Mobile.
Forest fires are now displayed on the website of T-Mobile UK, in the section coming soon, and the company said on Twitter that customers can buy the phone from 14 June. The last time I checked, was in June in the second quarter, so this could be a mistake, because HTC officially said that the fire (it runs Android 2.1) would be only the third quarter.
UK T-Mobile did not disclose the price of HTC forest fires, but “free on certain plans” sounds like a safe assumption.

Android hand, T-Mobile UK is also preparing to launch the SymbianC5-based Nokia, which should be available this month (May), which comes with free shipping and a 3.2MP camera.
