RIM’s brand new BlackBerry Pearl 3G will be available pretty soon in Australia, as Telstra – the country’s largest mobile operator – has just announced that it’s “the exclusive Australian launch partner” for it.
Unlike Vodafone UK’s Pearl 3G (9105), Telstra’s version is the 9100, which has a SureType QWERTY keyboard instead of a regular, alphanumeric one.
Other than that, the Pearl 3G 9100 features HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 360 x 400 pixels display, BlackBerry Messenger, BlackBerry Maps, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, dedicated music keys, 3.2MP autofocus camera, and a 624MHz processor.
Telstra says that the BlackBerry Pearl 3G will be available to its customers later this month, in “piano black” and “royal purple” . The carrier didn’t announce the smartphone’s price yet.
