Motorola Milestone XT720 (Motoroi) announced in Europe (video)

Motorola has confirmed that this is what the XT720 Motoroi in Europe, but under a different name: Motorola Milestone XT720.

The XT720 Target has just been announced in the UK as the first Android smartphone with Xenon flash. Like Motoroi of Korea, the new phone comes with a 3.7-inch WVGA (480 X 854) capacitive multi-touch screen, WiFi, GPS, HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, camera 8MP approach Automatic, HD (720p) video recording, and a 8GB card included in the box.

Unfortunately, the processor XT720 Milestone is faster than that of Motoroi, as is rumored – is only a 550MHz.

The Milestone XT720 runs Android 2.1, but is likely to be upgraded to Android 2.2 Frøya after launch. Speaking of launch, Motorola did not say when the new milestone hit the market – but the handset will probably be available in coming months (in the UK at least).
