HTC Incredible, Desire, EVO 4G,made in 2010 will get Android 2.2 Froyo

Most owners of smartphones HTC Android launch in 2010 will be able to upgrade their devices to 2.2 Frøya Android later this year. The news comes straight from HTC (via Android Central), saying: “if the phone was launched this year, we will most likely provide an update to version Frøya.

HTC phones include upgradable Verizon Droid Incredible, HTC Sprint 4G EVO, desire HTC and T-Mobile 3G myTouch slide. It is not known yet on Android HTC Wildfire 2.2 Update (the forest fire has 528MHz processor, and this might not be sufficient to support the new operating system from Google).

HTC Says Android 2.2 updates will start in the second half of the year.

The first Android smartphone received Frøya Nexus Google is probably the one – agree with this tweet, Frøya will show users a Nexus “in the coming weeks.” It is not surprising that here, in fact, as the Nexus One was also the first phone with Android to come 2.1.

Google has not confirmed (or uncommitted) all related to the next version of Adroid, that is, gingerbread, but this should not be in the fourth quarter of 2010.
