Verizon a few days back started pushing an over-the-air software update for Samsung’s Intensity and Trance squashing some bugs and adding some enhancements. While all went hunky dory for Intensity users, the official software update for Trance turned a bit nasty.
Mobile Crunch is hearing A reports of Trance behaving erratically after the update and automatically resets when a user tries to access his SMS inbox.
It is safe to assume that a patch would be on its way but a temporary workaround – which seemingly works – is to delete all read messages in the inbox.
